Blue Car With Texas Plates Illegally Stored/Unmoved/Abandoned Next To Sundance Park From July 3 To September, 2013

According to the "Merriam-Webster Dictionary" abandoned means:  given up; forsaken.

Stored/Parked/Unmoved/Abandoned For 32 Days Before Code Enforcement Got Them To Move Their Vehicle!!!!!

This kind of parking situation degrades our neighborhood from being mentioned in "Money Magazine".

This blue car, the dark sedan, and the tan SUV that is sometimes in these pics can be parked at the owner's house right next door with a 2 car garage, 2 car driveway, and 2 personal vehicle parking spaces in front of their house.  That is where these cars belong, per home owner parking spaces allowed in our City.  These are new neighbors to our neighborhood.  They do not know our parking laws.

Code Enforcement can get long term neighbor's vehicles moved, now how about tagging the new to the neighborhood blue car and getting it moved.

When Code Enforcement allows the blue car with the out of state TX plates that just moved into our neighborhood in June, 2013 to stay, with favoritism, other long term neighbors in the neighborhood want the same treatment.  Obviously.  When you allow this to happen, it makes it harder for you to enforce the law without favoritism.

The blue car with the TX plates was gone of a few days in August, but it came back 8-10-13, as it was there first thing on 8-11-2013.

"Last night we heard from the owners of the truck.  It belongs to a couple who recently moved to Louisville and who just purchased the vehicle.  The husband and wife are a little distressed about why the selective enforcement against them.  Commander Kingston will speak with them and convey our assurances that this is all quite routine and innocent. "

This quote is from a May 25, 2012 e-mail to me from Bruce Goodman, Police Chief.  He knows the rules.  He applies them when he wants.  He is a bully.  He does not do his job that he is paid to do.  He should be fired on the spot.  If he did his job correctly, the first time he contacted the owners, he would not be  backed into a corner to save face.  Now, he will not do his job, just to try to prove he is correct, when he is so very wrong.

Here are 2 of our City laws from our Municode.

It also prohibits acts of advantage or favoritism and, in that regard, prohibits special considerations, use of employee time for personal or private
reasons, and use of City vehicles or equipment, except in same manner as available to any other person (or in manner that will substantially benefit City)."

Here is the brown SUV that you managed to have removed.  But not the blue car.  Why?  Money changing hands?  No reply from you when I have called you out on this a number of times.  So, I am correct.  Money changes hands.

Notice the tan car in this pic.  It is owned by the folks in the green house in the pic.  They just moved here from TX.  They don't know our parking laws.

Notice the tan car in this pic.  It is owned by the folks in the green house in the pic.  They just moved here from TX.  They are leaving it parked here more and more, as the blue car is allowed to be abandoned for 21 days in a row by Sundance Park.  Our property values are going down because Sundance Park is allowed by the City to be a "parking lot" rather than a "park".  Shameful actions by City Council.

This pic shows these neighbors have plenty of room to park their own cars in their own 2 car driveway and 2 car parking right in front of their residential house that they recently bought.  They don't know our City laws and need to be politely informed, so as not to break our City laws.  It will also prevent a parking lot from occurring at a park in our City.  If a car was abandoned this long next to Sundance Park on Hoover Street, the owner would be notified immediately to move the residential vehicle.  The same law applies to the end of Sundance Park back in our neighborhood out of sight of the public.  We can see the prejudice, discrepancy, and public corruption by public officials.

This pic shows the Texas cars parked next to Sundance Park instead of in their own driveway, which is right next to Sundance Park.  They have a 2 car garage, 2 car driveway and parking for 2 cars in front of their house, as the previous pic proves.  They should be parking their residential cars in front of their own house per our City laws, as listed in the above preface.  The brown SUV in this pic is owned by the people, who own the end house with all the places to park their residential car, on their own residential property.
Again, if a car was abandoned this long next to Sundance Park on Hoover Street, the owner would be notified immediately to move the residential vehicle.  The same law applies to the end of Sundance Park back in our neighborhood out of sight of the public.  We can see the prejudice, discrepancy, and public corruption by public officials by treating this part of Sundance Park differently.

Code Enforcement had this dark car removed in June with no problems.  But Code Enforcement cannot remove the blue car.  Why?  Money changing hands, which is never denied by Code Enforcement, when I call them out on it.  Interesting.  Notice the dark sedan is back.  You allow one, you allow 2.  Harder to keep under control.

The dark sedan, too, again.

The dark sedan, too, again.

The dark sedan, too, again.

The dark sedan, too, again.  The blue car is behind the shrubs.

The dark sedan, too, again.

The dark sedan, too, again.

These 2 cars should be parked at their green ranch house.  Instead Code Enforcement allows the folks from TX to keep their cars parked illegally next to Sundance Park in a far corner, where no one can see that Code Enforcement is breaking our City parking laws.  $$$$ changing hands???  Code Enforcement needs to prove this is not the case.

Their tan SUV is replaced by their dark sedan.  The blue car is still there.

They have their dark car in the middle of their 2 car driveway.  Then they park their tan SUV with TX plates next to Sundance Park, as Code Enforcement shows "cherry picking favoritism".  The blue car is back.  Code Enforcement cannot do its job.
