December 6, 2012 E-mail From The Mayor Stating He Relies On The Police and City Admin (who seriously cannot add/subtract).
So, If The Chief Of Police Lies To The Mayor, He Believes The Lies And Does Not Look Into The Matter Himself (lazy).

Bev:

I can see why you are frustrated. I have forwarded your note to Malcolm Fleming our city manager and asked him to look into your concerns. I'll get back to once I hear from him.

With the exception of the Mini Cooper parked too close to the stop sign, I don't think city code applies to your concern though. The cars parked on the street in front of the park are not on park property or in a parking lot dedicated for park use so the code section you reference likely does not apply. They are parked on a city street and we don't have restrictions on parking on city streets except that the vehicle must have current registration.

This is just my view based on past experience. I will rely on the police or our city attorney to correct me if I'm mistaken and please let me know if you think I've misunderstood the situation

Thanks for contacting me.

Mayor

People drive up to look at the SAME "For Sale" vehicle, park in the middle of the street and block traffic. Code Enforcement does nothing, as it is a constant problem.

The owner leaves this truck or another truck, drives up, swaps items from one vehicle to another, and drives off. This happens even after I report this situation to Code Enforcement. Code Enforcement and our Local Police Department cannot keep this situation under control. :(((

The Code Enforcement has totally given up enforcing the "no parking law by City Parks" with this tan truck. When the City of Louisville does not enforce the laws, others come back and break the law. It is a mess.
